Dr. Louis’ primary research interests reside in healthcare organization and delivery, cancer care, and Medicaid reform. He has published recently on cancer patient navigation and his current work examines delays in breast cancer diagnosis and structural design issues that influence cancer care delivery. Dr. Louis also has nearly a decade of health care industry experience in health system strategy, operations, and project management. Moreover, he has worked in multiple industry settings across the U.S. including non-profit and for-profit health systems, consulting, and physician practices. Dr. Louis earned his PhD from Penn State University in Health Policy & Administration. He also holds a MHA from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Jack Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University.
