I have a Ph.D. in genetics and genomics from Boston University and am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Neurology at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). I work closely with researchers, clinicians and data scientists at UCSF and Chan-Zuckerberg Biohub to integrate next-generation sequencing technologies and novel bioinformatic methods to develop biomarkers, and gain a deeper understanding of infectious causes of fever, meningitis and encephalitis. My long term research goal is to use sophisticated computational approaches to improve surveillance and global health outcomes in low and middle income countries.
