My multi-disciplinary academic training and research experience (11 years) have provided me with an excellent background in biology including molecular biology, genetics, cell signaling, and stem cell biology. I got Ph.D. from Soonchunhyang University, S. Korea under the supervision of Dr.Jeong Kyo Yoon. I do research in Stem Cell Biology, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. Now I am a Postdoctoral Associate in Dr.Ligresti's Lab at the Department of Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, USA. My Current research work is focusing on understanding the role of endothelial cells in the homeostasis and regeneration of adult lung and during the development of chronic lung disease especially idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
