Dr. Martin's research has focused on increasing access to services for adolescents and youth with co-occurring substance use disorders and psychiatric disorders. Her clinical work is also focused on treating co-occurring disorders in adults. Her additional interests include multicultural clinical practice, biracial and international experiences, intersectionality, the development of social privilege awareness, and relational psychodynamic theory.
