Dr. Kaweevisaltrakul received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2002 and a Certificate of Graduate Study in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry at the Police General Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand in 2006. She then continued another field of specialty in the United States. In 2011, she completed a 3-year residency program and earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Prosthodontics from GSDM. She also won the David J. Baraban Award (an award determined by faculty voting) for an outstanding resident who exemplifies excellence in character and clinical proficiency.

Upon graduation, she was offered a position to join the faculty in the Department of General Dentistry at GSDM as a Clinical Assistant Professor to supervise and evaluate pre-doctoral students in both a patient treatment center and a simulation learning center. In January of 2014, she was promoted to a Group Practice Leader and has expanded her responsibilities with administrative work in the department.
