Gheorghe Doros is Associate Professor of Biostatistics and director of the Biostatistics Consulting Group. He received his PhD in statistics from Yale University and joined BUSPH’s Department of Biostatistics in 2006 after spending two years at Eli Lilly, as a member of that company's Drug Discovery and Toxicology department. Professor Doros’s interests focus on Clinical Trials, Bayesian Statistics, asymptotic statistics, testing, and computational statistics. He is involved in projects that evaluate the effects of physical and emotional stresses of caregiving on physical and psychological health. He also serves as a statistical consultant to Boston Medical Center’s Amyloid Center and as biostatistician for the Boston University Clinical Research Training (CREST) project. At BUSPH, he teaches the course in Computational Statistics and Generalized Linear Models.
