DMD, McGill University

My name is Jennifer Kim and I grew up in Montreal, Canada. I attended McGill University for dental school. Upon graduation in 2006, I came to Boston for my residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Boston University. After a few years of being in private practice in Massachusetts, I returned to Boston University for my post-doctorate training in the specialty of endodontics.

I find dentistry enjoyable because you have the opportunity to interact with patients and build a rapport with them while delivering the care that they need. Especially in endodontics, most often we deliver the treatment that help eliminate an existing pain or infection so the experience is even more rewarding. I like explaining to the patients their conditions and the nature of the procedure and taking my time when rendering the treatment so that they feel comfortable and at ease, while ensuring that the high standard of care has been met.
