Dr. Yunfei Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Radiation Oncology department of the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her medical physics residency in 2012 at the University of Iowa, where she received her PhD in Physics in 2008. Prior to migrating to the US, she earned her BS in Physics from Hangzhou Normal University, China in 1994.
Prior to joining the BU School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center, Dr. Huang was an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Brown University’s Alpert Medical School and a Medical Physicist at Rhode Island Hospital. She was also the primary teaching faculty for the Masters in Medical Physics program at the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Huang has served as a reviewer for several peer review journals, including Medical Physics, Medical Dosimetry, Journal of Applied Medical Physics in Medicine, Radiation Research, and Physics in Medicine and Biology. She is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Jacobs Journal of Radiation Oncology.
