He then completed a general practice residency at the University of Vermont, and his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at BU/Tufts. Dr. Colton was chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the VA Medical Center, Boston, MA. until he went into private practice in Norwell, MA. He is Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the active staff at Boston Medical Center Hospital. He is an attending oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Boston Medical Center. His areas of interest include ambulatory general anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, and dental implants.
