Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility

I am fully for diversity equity inclusion and accessibility (DEIA not only for supporting the idea but also showed the action that I am for it, support and do it. I believe these action and activities can build a better society and better BU.
I came along from a different country and culture environment to pursue a better career in medicine and research. Throughout 30 plus years training and working of my life at BUSM, I am better understood, equipped and benefit from practicing DEIA.
As a result, I actively engaged in DEIA activities and supporting the movement by my own action. In addition of doing everything helpful in my everyday activity, I also participate in network activities in groups like FSCN (faculty and staff of color community network: I am the treasurer of BU FSCN). I believe action is much more active and efficient than words along. I will consistently do what I thought was the right thing throughout my tenure of Boston University and beyond.
