Dr. Casas received undergraduate training in Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University and her MD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She pursued her Internal Medicine residency at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital and participated in primary care and women’s health tracks. Dr. Casas also completed the Primary Care Academic Medicine Fellowship with a Master of Education at the Boston University School of Medicine. She is currently an assistant professor at the Boston University School of Medicine, working as a clinician in women’s health primary care and an associate clerkship director of the Inpatient Medicine and Advanced Internal Medicine Ambulatory Clerkships. Her current projects focus on curriculum development of outpatient resident education in women’s health and program evaluation of the medicine clerkships.
