Andrea Spencer, MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Her primary research interest is improving treatment for ADHD in primary care settings. She is Board Certified in both Child and Adult Psychiatry after completing a dual residency at Mass General Hospital and McLean Hospital. She stayed at Mass General Hospital to work with Dr. Joseph Biederman in the Bressler Program for Autism at MGH. Dr. Spencer's research has been bolstered by grants such as the Dupont Warren and Livingston Awards. Outside of the medical field Dr. Spencer, a music major during her undergrad, plays viola with the Longwood Symphony Orchestra.
