Neurology

MD, Tehran University of Medical Sciences

My interest in neurology began in childhood after seeing how some of the neurologic conditions like ALS and MS affected people close to me. I completed my Neurology residency at West Virginia University, where I also had the opportunity to serve as the Chief Resident. During the Neurology Residency, I became more interested in Neurophysiology and this led me to Columbia University, where I completed a fellowship in electromyography and neuromuscular diseases. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008 and serve as the director of our stroke program, and I also participate in teaching the Boston University medical students in our department.
