I believe in a team work approach to patient care where the patient, the physicians, nurses and staff, and the family and loved ones all play a very important role in healing the patient.

I grew up in the military and have lived all over the world; I consider Pennsylvania my "home". I attended Georgetown University for my undergraduate education in Chemistry and stayed on to earn my medical degree in 2003. I completed my residency and fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and the Palo Alto VA HCS. My professional interests include advanced laparoscopy, foregut surgery (hiatal hernias, reflux surgery), benign esophageal disease, laparoscopic colon and solid organ resection (spleen and adrenal), laparoscopic and robotic ventral and inguinal hernias, robotic surgery, and complex abdominal wall repair.
