Dr. Pomeranz is an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine, and a staff psychologist in the VA Boston Healthcare System. As a doctor of Psychology, Dr. Pomeranz has a private practice where her therapeutic style is integrative in nature and incorporates psycho-dynamic, interpersonal, narrative, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Dr. Pomeranz is licensed psychologist in the state of Massachusetts. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship with the VA Boston Health Care System and the University of California-Davis Health System – Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She received her Psy.D & MA in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University – California School of Professional Psychology in 2007 & 2005, and BA degrees in Psychology & Community Studies from the University of California-Santa Cruz in 2002. Her expertise and interests include the treatment of post-traumatic stress/trauma, addictions, anxiety/stress, depression, chronic pain, motivational issues, and life transitions.
