Dr. Pomeranz is an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine, and a staff psychologist in the VA Boston Healthcare System. Dr. Pomeranz is licensed psychologist in the state of Massachusetts. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship with the VA Boston Health Care System and the University of California-Davis Health System – Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She received her Psy.D & MA in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University – California School of Professional Psychology in 2007 & 2005, and BA degrees in Psychology & Community Studies from the University of California-Santa Cruz in 2002. Her expertise and interests include the treatment of post-traumatic stress/trauma, addictions, anxiety/stress, depression, chronic pain, motivational issues, and life transitions.
