I completed medical school and my internship in India before my residency training in psychiatry at Nassau University Medical center, New York. I have also worked in adult psychiatry in inpatient, consultation-liaison, urgent care and outpatient settings in California before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2007. I have worked with patients with concurrent mental illness and substance use. I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine.
