Dr. Cassis has been practicing dentistry since 1982 and has been certified in prosthodontics since 1986. He obtained his DMD and Advanced Graduate degrees at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He has years of experience in several dental disciplines including Implantology, Restorative Dentistry, and Esthetic Dentistry. He has been a Clinical Professor with Boston University since 1987 in the postdoctoral residency programs. He served as the Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry for 25 years and the Post-Graduate Operative and Esthetics Program for nearly 20 years. He is currently the director of the B.U. Dental Health Center, overseeing numerous dental providers and dental specialists. Dr. Cassis is dedicated to enhancing the professional development of general dentists and gives specialty lectures worldwide. He has been the recipient of several awards, including the Spencer N. Frankl Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2006. He is also a member of several school committees and fellowships, including the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
