Dr. Jessica Fry is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Curry College. Dr. Fry completed her postdoctoral training at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine, studying the role of the enzyme Sirtuin-1 in the pathogenesis of arterial stiffness, hypertension, and related cardiovascular disease. She is broadly trained in physiology and molecular and cellular biology, with an S.B. in Biology from MIT and a PhD in Experimental Pathology through the Harvard Medical School Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program. Her graduate work focused on the effects of matrix remodeling protein ADAM-9 isoforms on breast cancer cell migration. Dr. Fry's teaching experience includes Introduction to Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences, Introduction to Cell Culture Techniques, Essentials of Laboratory Math, and Immunology, taught through the City Lab Academy and BLCS programs at BU Metropolitan College. She is also a certified dog trainer and the President of the New England Dog Training Club, based in Cambridge.
