Dr. Milrod completed his medical school education at Drexel University College of Medicine, followed by his current residency at Boston Medical Center/Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. During his internal medicine residency at BU, Dr. Milrod described the previously unrecognized adverse event of immune therapy causing skin darkening in Black patients under mentorship of Dr. J. Mark Sloan, MD. Dr. Milrod belongs to several hematology & oncology research societies including the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. His work has been published in academic journals including Blood, American Journal of Medicine and others.

As a member of the internal medicine residency at BMC, Dr. Milrod works in a multidisciplinary team to diagnose, coordinate, and optimize treatment for a wide array of diseases in multiple subspecialties. He conducts clinical research, retrospective reviews, and systematic analyses with targeted agents and immune therapies in cancers including multiple myeloma, pancreatic cancer, and lung cancer. Future goals include fellowship in hematology/oncology with a focus on inclusive clinical trial design. Originally from Westfield, NJ, he is a fierce pizza fan.
